Dhani Ram Khanna Jewellery – Fine handmade jewellery

DRK Jewels was founded six decades ago in 1955. The creative force behind the brand, Late Shri Dhani Ram Khanna believed that jewellery is not just about stones and metal, rather it symbolizes the art of design and entails the real sincerity involved in designing.

Initially, the brand catered primarily to clients in South India, including the Royals and bureaucrats.

The popular jewellery trends of that era included gold ornaments studded with precious stones. DRK Jewels constantly endeavored to meticulously design and create fine pieces of art in the form of jewellery.

Regular patrons of the brand at that time were Maharaja of Vijaynagar, Raja of Ramachandrapuram and Rani Hemlalta Devi of Andhra.

In-fact the raja of Ramachandrapuram was so enamoured by the designs that he even gifted Shri Dhani Ram Khanna a piece of art from his very own royal haveli.

The brand came to Northem India when Shri Ram Khanna's son, Deepak Khanna, joined the family business. He expanded the jewellery line and added to the gold ornaments introducing age-old Meena-kundan and Polki and clubbing it with diamonds.

Currently the thired generation is actively part of the business; Parth Khanna is taking the legacy forth to greater heights. It is his aim to showcase a wide range of aesthetic jewellery, integrating modern designs with age-old craftsmanship.
